Questions and Answers
Q: How long will it take to get a settlement?
Remember that we're picking cases that we want to try to jury. We find that is the best way to get the results that our clients deserve, even for our clients that want to settle. Oftentimes, defendants will choose to settle the case very early on when they find out that we represent the plaintiff. If it's a fair settlement that offers real justice to our client, then great. If not, then that's even better. We will litigate the case, hard, and get it ready for trial. Defendants then usually settle right before trial, for multiples of their original offers. And if they still don't settle, then that's the best case scenario. We try the case and let the jury deliver real justice for our clients.

Q: What is the payment schedule?Â
Smart defendants often choose to settle early when they find out that we're representing the plaintiff. In those cases, your case will resolve in just a few months - sometimes weeks. Other defendants sometimes foolishly choose to drag things out, which is much worse for them in the long term, because juries do the right thing. In those cases, it generally takes 12 to 18 months for your case to resolve.

We handle all of our cases on a contingency-fee basis. That means that our clients never pay anything out of pocket.
